Malgosia-Ziemkewicz-Artabe

After studying modern viola at the Chopin Academy in Warsaw, Małgosia completed her two year postgraduate diploma studies in baroque viola at the Royal Academy of Music in London, with Katherine McGillivray. During this period she performed with Laurence Cummings, Trevor Pinnock, Catherine Mackintosh, Catherine Manson, Jonathan Manson and Maggie Faultless.

Małgosia now plays violin and viola with various orchestras and chamber groups including The English Concert, Early Opera Company, English Baroque Soloists, Florilegium, The Kings Consort and La Serenissima. She also organizes concerts in the UK and Europe.

Having recently completed a masters degree in Music Therapy at the University of West England, Małgosia currently combines her performance work with teaching privately and in schools, and working as a music therapist.
